Title: Estimator for Small Capital Projects

Description: A salaried position bidding and managing multiple small cap projects from the home office to estimate projects of sizes from $10,000 to $5,000,000+.

Follow up:

Required Industry Experience: 5 years minimum Petroleum and Petroleum related (Refinery, Terminal, etc.) and Chemical. Also helpful – Utilities (Power, Gas Plant, Waste Water, etc.), Air Separation, Pulp & Paper, Mining, Food, Aerospace, and Manufacturing.

Required Knowledge: In-depth knowledge – Piping, Rigging, and Equipment/Vessel Installation work.

Preferred additional in-depth knowledge – Civil and Structural Steel work.

General knowledge – Electrical & Instrumentation, Paint & Coatings, Insulation work.

Capabilities:
Estimating & proposal preparation (Timberline a plus)
Subcontracts and subcontract change order management
Scheduling (MS Project required, Primavera a plus)
Meetings with client
Project controls and forecasting
Invoicing management

Required Software Proficiency: Excel, Word, Project, Outlook (Primavera, Surtrack, Powerpoint, CAD, Visio, Timberline – all a plus)

Education Requirements: Engineering or technical degree a plus
